Jesus continued on as if he were going farther.
But they urged him strongly:
“Stay with us.”

Volunteering

Volunteering at Emmaus is something to consider if you say: “Yes, that’s me” to one or more of the following points (written by one of our volunteers):

  • If you want to give yourself the time and space for reflection and personal growth
  • If you are in a period of discernment and seeking direction
  • If you feel a desire to serve and dedicate your time to God for a specific period
  • If you want to deepen your understanding of the Jewish roots of the faith
  • If you are looking to grow spiritually and strengthen your faith

Ask us anything

Yes, of course. Send us an email with your request.

It is a possibility but not an obligation. Feel free to explore or contribute with your musical talents.

Yes, you can join us for a day or half a day once a week, or once a month. It’s a great way to get to know each other! We have plenty of tasks we could do together. Coffee, tea, and lunch are on the house.

Voices of visitors

Emmaus is for people who enjoy praying and, if possible, singing, and who enjoy working as a team on tasks around the house, in the garden, and on the site.

I would really recommend not just taking a day trip to Emmaus, but staying for a while, finding some peace and quiet, and worshiping Jesus... Why? Well, it's just always better that way ;-).
